Simon qualified as a Quantity Surveyor in 1979 after training in Wellington.  He moved to Auckland in 1984 and became a Partner of Knapman Clark in 1985. In 1990 he moved back to the Wellington office to lead a team in the construction of the new Civic Centre Project. In 1995 Simon returned to the Auckland office to assist with the growing workload in Auckland. His project expertise includes cost planning, procurement and cost management of office buildings and fit-outs. His market sector includes commercial office, residential and education.
