Davis Langdon is managing delivery of the Coles Supermarkets nationwide capital works programme. The programme consists of approximately 100 projects per annum consisting of refurbishment of existing stores and minor works programmes. The cost of the individual projects ranges from
between $30,000 to in excess of $4m, with a majority of the projects undertaken within operating supermarkets.

Davis Langdon is also assisting the Coles Facilities Department in implementing changes to the way they deliver projects in order save money and deliver projects quicker. This has involved appointing a single builder and single architect to carry out all their works for a two year period. Davis
Langdon’s roles include tendering this work and the ongoing management of the contracts with the architect and the builder.
