The project was to produce a physical and technical Pre-purchase Due Diligence report for a business and retail park, comprising a large scale shopping centre including ancillary shopping precincts and a portfolio of 17 industrial buildings constructed at various times between 1939 and 2006.

A number of issues were identified and tabled in the client’s negotiations with the Vendor. This included incomplete works under S173 Agreements which impacted the use of an area of land and inconsistencies between title and site boundaries. Following negotiations between parties to which Davis Langdon provided first hand advice, the sale completed sucessfully.

Property Services brought together the in-house disciplines of Architectural/Building Fabric, Quantity Surveying, BCA Compliance, and Town Planning, and Project Managed the external consultants including Structural, Civil, Building Services and Environmental.
