Davis Langdon scoops Consultant of the Year

March, 2009

We have been celebrating after winning the preistigious Consultant of the Year award at last night's North West Property Awards.

More than 600 property professionals gathered at the Sheridan Suite, Manchester at the awards which are organised by Property Week, to reward excellence in the North West Property industry.  We beat off stiff competition from BDP, Faithful & Gould and GVA Grimley amongst others to win the coveted award.

“We were thrilled to receive this recognition – it’s a great achievement,” comments Manchester office Partner Stephen Frood. “The fact that the judging was undertaken by the 'North West Property Academy' which comprises 120 of the top property people in the North / North West is a fantastic endorsement of our work in the region and the icing on the cake.”

The awards, which returned to Manchester for its third year, rewarded North West based developments, people and teams in 17 categories.

Other winners included Liverpool ONE by Grosvenor – a project for which we provided a full suite of services comprising cost management, employer’s agent, engineering services and property tax and finance advice – which won Mixed-Use development of the year.

Our Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester offices are working on a number of major projects locally, including Clarence Dock and the Granary Wharf and Paragon Business Village in Leeds; Grosvenor’s Paradise Project in Liverpool delivering Liverpool One; the Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre and Crosby Lend Lease’s Greenquarter in Manchester.
