Sweet 16 for Davis Langdon & Seah International

January, 2009

Davis Langdon & Seah International (DLSI) is celebrating being voted “Top International Cost Consultant” in Building Design World Architecture magazine’s annual poll. More remarkably, the global firm has won the award for consecutive 16 years.

The poll profiles the world’s ‘Top 100’ leading architects and their clients. Voting is not based on a short list to influence results and the principal assessment criterion in the poll, ‘Best Overall Quality of Service’, indicates that the firm is the most consistent and cohesive organisation in its field for responding to client and colleague needs.

Rob Smith, Davis Langdon’s Senior Partner said, “Davis Langdon has a proud legacy of working with designers that are pushing the boundaries of innovative design.  We work with the leading architecture firms in the world and understand the value that good design brings to overall project success.  We actively support the profession through sponsorship of such organisations as the Architecture Foundation and also the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona.”

This is the latest in a line of industry plaudits for the firm, which has scooped a number of awards for its broad range of consultancy services in the past year, including:

  • Building magazine’s Construction Consultant/Surveyor of the Year 2008.
  • Being named one of the Sunday Times ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ in this year’s league table, jumping 10 places from 29th to 19th on the list. No other competitor firm made the top 50.

DLSI is currently working on a number of major projects internationally including of CCTV New Site Construction and Development Programme in Beijing, Baha Mar in the Caribbean, and Dubai Waterfront.
