The UK Government’s Low Carbon Construction Action Plan launched by Minister Mark Prisk on 22 June marks the third major Government announcement on construction in as many weeks, following hot on the heels of the Report on BIM (20 June) and the Government Construction Strategy (31 May).

These three publications should really be read as a singe piece, with the overall aim of developing a more efficient, effective and profitable construction sector that produces and maintains highly productive, low carbon buildings and infrastructure.
