Flight 93 National Memorial Wins National Park Service Award
The Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset, Pennsylvania, has won a National Park Service merit award for its design master plan. The Memorial, designed by Paul Murdoch Architects and Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects, is a 2,200 acre memorial that honors the passengers and flight crew of Flight 93. Davis Langdon provided complete design stage cost consulting services, beginning with the conceptual phase, to Paul Murdoch Architects for the project, the first phase of which will be dedicated on September 11, 2011.
